I have always loved colourful things, fun shapes, and bold designs. This program has taught me how to apply these treatments in impactful and digestible ways to compliment the story being told. I am excited to be entering the graphic design industry alongside such an inspiring and talented cohort. I could not be more proud of the ways we have all grown as designers and individuals over the last 2 years.
My current logo that is an abstracted version of myself. Angela is underlined by a subtle J as a nod to my last name.
An imagined beer can design for a school project. The bold and bright design was inspired by how the Dow's Lake pavilion shines on the water at night.
Poster design for a school project with the goal of promoting a charitable event. I imagined a collaborative paint night with Wallack's Ottawa and Color Your Life Project– a Philippines based NGO that provides art supplies to youth in rural and Indigenous communities.
A full scope event brand for the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts. Deliverables for the client included print, web, and social media content.
